About us - School

Our school was established In 1982 as a primary school. It was the biggest school in podkarpacki district at that time – 2000 students in 65 classes. After the reform of education in 1999 our school was changed into school complex consisting of primary school and secondary school (gymnasium). Since 2004 the school functions as the Jan Słomka Gimnasium nr 2.

Currently, about 400 pupils in the age of 14-16 learn in our school.
We have got 19 school forms:
5 classes I,
7 classes II,
7 classes III.

In our school work 45 teachers, 2 pedagogical teachers, psychologist and 2 librarians.

Students are divided according to their interests:

- Mathematical - Information Technology class more...
- Language class (2 foreign languages: English and German)
- Dance class more...

Our students have a possibility to develop their interests on additional classes:
- Information Technology Circle
- Electronic Circle
- Artistic Circle
- Journalist Circle
- Sport Circle

In our school are 2 gymnasiums, a gym, 2 computer rooms, a multimedia library, medicine office and dental surgery.
