The second stage of the project - Water
February 2009 - May 2009

During this stage of the project the students with the Chemistry Teacher will be working on the following tasks:

1. The will work out on the issue of water existing in the environment They will also try to estimate the impact of larger area water on the ecological condition of the environment.

2. They will also make some cyclical measurements researching the impurities of natural waters in the region.

3. They will work on the issue connected with the purifying and treating water.

A trip to the local Sewage Treatment Plant will be organized. Every school will prepare a performance for 22nd March -World Water Day. The results of the work will be presented in the form of presentations and articles placed on the Internet page of the project.

1. Water purity test
A group of students under the guidance of a teacher investigated the purity of the water chemistry of the Vistula river within Tarnobrzeg. At specific intervals, water samples were collected and then tested them in a school laboratory chemical. The materials gathered and compiled the results placed in a multimedia presentation.

2. Water
On the occasion of falling on March 22 World Water Day under the supervision of chemistry teacher students prepared a multimedia presentation, "March 22 - World Water Day," showing the importance of water for humanity and the risks associated with its scarcity.

3. Sewage treatment plant
Students pursuing this stage of the Project, together with chemistry and biology teacher, visited the Municipal Sewage Treatment Plant in Zakrzów. Acquainted with the water purification process and its outcome. Boat has been documented in a multimedia presentation.
